England vs. Costa Rica
It will be the first time that Costa Rica and England met in a World Cup, and they’ll meet in very special conditions. The “Ticos” have surprised everyone with their football quality and now they are leading the group. Many football fans expected more from England and surely no one would bet on the Central America team, Costa Rica.
- Costa Rica may need just a point to secure top spot in their Group but Costa Rica full-back Christian Gamboa said his side wouldn’t see as disadvantage to come second as they would likely face Colombia in the Round of 16.
- It has been 36 years since the last World Cup in South America
